Default time will be 10 minutes after the actual start time.

Illegal move penalty applies if either of the players has 5 minutes left in their time. Players are allowed 2 illegal moves, the third offence will be the loss of the game. Additional 1 minute will be added to the opponent's clock for each illegal move omitted.

After registration please check by following Sunday that the player is entered in the correct section.
Pairings will be published on the same link above and will be posted in the designated area at the venue.

Best Performance from Colchester Juniors - Trophy
Tie-breaks will be applied to decide the trophy winner.
Cash prizes will be shared equally in the event of ties. Total the pot money of £150 for U18 cash prizes.
Refreshments

Inside the campus, the Crumbs Café is open from 9:00 to 4:00pm and operates in a cashless payment only. The Store is also open from 10am.

Organizer will not serve any food or drink.
Please observe NO nuts to be consumed at the venue as we do have confirmed players suffering from severe allergy to nuts.
Travel
There is ample parking at the venue free of charge. The nearest car park to the playing area is the Car Park B near the Essex Sports Arena.
If travelling by car, whether approaching Essex Sport Arena from London and the South or Ipswich and the North via the A12, take the exit marked Colchester (A1232/A120). Follow the A1232/Ipswich Road into Colchester for approximately 1 mile until you reach a roundabout. Turn left onto the A133 and drive ahead along this road. You will reach a small roundabout. Take the second exit and continue ahead until you reach a larger roundabout. Take the second exit to continue onto the A133. You will get to a set of traffic lights with the Knowledge Gateway to your right. Continue straight and merge onto the right hand lane where after 500 yards you should see the sign for The University of Essex and Wivenhoe (B1028). Take this right turn and follow the road past the first set of traffic lights. Shortly after you will see the main entrance to the University of Essex. Take this right turn onto Boundary Road. Follow this road and take the second right turn where you will see the multi-storey car park and Essex Sport Arena.
Train
If travelling by train, the nearest train station is Hythe which is approximately 1.2km from the Colchester campus and is served by the Greater Anglia Trains.
Once arrived at the campus, on your smartphone type and search on the internet, findyourway.essex.ac.uk and click University of Essex Map then type Stem building which will give direction to the playing venue.
Supervision of Children
Strictly to be observed that all children under 11 years old will need to be supervised at all times by their parents/guardians wherever they are in the campus.
